more about 235 BEWEmovementGING

WHAT IS THE 235 MOVEMENT?
The 235 Movement is a community-based initiative based on Section 235 of the South African Constitution, which recognises the right to self-determination for cultural communities. We strive for better service delivery, local governance and ultimately full self-determination for the people.
_edited.png)
OUR GOALS
Establishment of 235 wards through participation in local elections. Use of every vote as a mandate for self-determination. Takeover of ward control where your cultural group are in the majority. Ultimate creation of language and culture cantons with self-government.
_edited.png)
WHY PARTICIPATE IN ELECTIONS?
We want to ensure that communities get the service delivery they deserve. Elected 235 council members hold city councils accountable. Every ward won is a step closer to independent control.
_edited.png)
STRATEGY AND STRUCTURE
Branch development: Building local branches all over South Africa. Leadership from below: No traditional leaders, but dedicated heads who manage specific areas. Council members donate 2.5% of income to Volks ontwikkeling.

JOIN AND BUILD TOGETHER!
If you strive with us, start a branch, recruit members, and become part of a historic movement for unity within your community and self-determination.
RESPECT FOR OUR CULTURE

Durban City Hall
The building, which features an Edwardian neobaroque style, is almost an exact replica of Belfast City Hall in Northern Ireland. The façades are decorated by allegorical statues depicting the arts, music, literature, commerce and industry.

Support the 235 movement and buy a t-shirt. We must all stand together against the communist godless threat in South Africa.
We are working on self-determination section 235 areas for all Afrikaans neighborhoods and Boer communities.
