1. Purpose of 235 Branches

The branches of 235 Movement serve as the foundation of the movement in each ward. They function as the primary link between the movement and the community and are responsible for:

  • Recruitment and community involvement.

  • Communicating the vision and projects of 235 Movement.

  • Organizing election campaigns and project execution.

  • Strengthening the mandate through maximum votes and community participation.

2. Structure of a Branch

Each ward branch should have the following functions and positions:

 

2.1 Leadership

 

  1. Chairperson (Leader) – Responsible for strategy, decision-making, and coordination of all branch activities.

  2. Secretary – Maintains all documentation, meeting minutes, and communication.

  3. Treasurer – Control of funds, collection of money, and provision of financial reports.

  4. Board members (5) – Each board member has specific responsibilities, e.g.:

  • Membership recruitment and registration.

  • Media and social media management.

  • Project and community development.

  • Posters and promotional material.​

  • Election coordination.​

 

2.2 Active members

  • As many members as possible should be involved in each branch.

  • Active participation in recruitment, projects, and campaigns is essential.

3. Communication

  • Each branch should have an active group communication, e.g. WhatsApp or Telegram.

  • All members should have access to:

    • 235 Movement’s Facebook page and other social media groups.

    • Information about projects, campaigns, and community activities.

4. Funds and Materials

  • Funds should be collected during election periods and community contributions.

  • These funds are used for:

    • Posters and promotional material.

    • Logistical support of campaigns.

    • Support of projects such as welfare activities.

5. Election coordination

  • Each branch selects two candidates for the ward.

  • The members in the ward decide which of the two becomes the official candidate.

  • The branch must ensure that everyone in the ward understands exactly what 235 Movement stands for.

6. Projects and Community Involvement

  • Initiate projects that directly benefit the community, e.g. welfare of people, support of the poor and the elderly, community safety.

  • These projects increase the visibility of 235 Movement and strengthen community involvement.

7. Maximize Mandate

  • Each branch must focus on maximum voter turnout through:

    • Personal contact with members and voters.

    • Ongoing information campaigns.

    • Participation in public forums and social media.

8. Delegates to Congress

  • Each branch sends delegates to:

    • Provincial Congress – for collaboration and coordination of projects.

    • National Congress – for nationwide strategy and decision-making.

9. Summary of a Strong Branch

  • A strong branch has the following characteristics:

    • Defined leadership and management structure.

    • Active and involved members.

    • Strong communication network.

    • Access to financial and promotional resources.

    • Clear plan for election campaigns and community projects.

    • Full involvement in provincial and national congresses.
